From Sass catalog, 1937: NEBRASKA (H. P. Sass, 1929)-The latest yellow iris to bloom and one of the richest yellows. S. ruffled apricot yellow. F. same color with brown veining. Dark yellow beard. A large flower. 50c.
From Sarah Toedt’s Springtime Gardens catalog, 1929: Nebraska — An attractive large flowering brilliant yellow with heavy reticulation and slight ruffling. Plants well near King Tut.
