From Treholme Gardens catalog 1928: NANCY ORNE 82 (Sturtevant 1921) E. 80 G. 85 42" M. S. S. purple-lilac shaded deep buff; F. argyle purple, shaded yellow. A delightful fawn-pink effect. Vigorous branching habit. Similar to but not equal to Mme. Cheri. 50c.
From AIS Bulletin 6: Bicolor, RR-V blend. (m). Brief: Standards purplish lilac; falls argyle purple; styles buff tinted; stalk low and well-branched growth vigorous; 40 in. Details. Foliage stiff, deeply tinged at base; Standards domed; falls rounded over.
Remarks: Similar to but with more pink than 'Mme Cheri'
