1972, Hooker
'Mystic Isle' (Lerton Hooker, R. 1970). Seedling# 7950. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Violet-blue (RHS 94B) to light blue (100C), fading with age, darker veining and lighter blush around cool white beard. 'Cross Country' X seedling# 4695: ('Celestial Snow' x 'Grace and Symmetry'). Tell 1972.

Falls flaring, wide stylearms and a beard tipped cool white. Genes here for many colors, including tangerine-bearded blues and whites. Vigorous and healthy, but not a fast increaser. Net $25.00.
