From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1921: MRS. COWLEY (Bliss). Very early and free-flowering. Standards coppery-pink, and falls of a deep rich rosy-purple. Very striking and beautiful on account of its quiet colouring. 27-in. high.
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: MRS. COWLEY (Bliss 1920) 7.8. S. coppery-buff; F. deep, rosy-purple. A free-flowering variety, striking and beautiful on account of its quiet coloring. 27 inches. 50 cts. each; $1.25 for 3; $4.00 per doz.
