From AIS Bulletin #138, July 1955. Introducing MORNING SUNLIGHT-A brilliant, glowing, deep yellow that commands attention from garden visitors. We hesitated to add another yellow to the already crowded list of recent introductions in this class, but this seedling has attracted so much favorable comment that we are offering it for sale. It is a shapely, free blooming iris of pleasing form, firm substance, subdued haft markings and bright yellow beard, which makes an outstanding clump in late midseason when few other yellows are at their best.
