'Monterey Bay' (Hilda Fail, R. 1967). Seedling# H-26. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-BlP, Wilson sea-blue self (43/3); white beard tipped blue. 'Demetria' X 'Henry Shaw'. Hilda 1967.

From AIS Bulletin #185 April 1967 Introducing MONTEREY BAY (DEMETRIA X HENRY SHAW). E. 36". Medium blue (Wilson sea blue 43/3) with all good qualities of its two famous parents. Long-lasting bloom that never fades; white beard tipped blue. $25.00. Hilda's Iris Garden.
