From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: MONKSHOOD (Emery 1955) M. L. 38-40 in. (Blue Monarch x Gloriole) x Campanula. A beautiful new blue that again last year draw more attention than any other in its color class. The standards -are clean Monkshood blue and the falls are the same but a shade darker. The flowers are large with broad full petals. The standards are very nicaly domed and the falls flare to just the right degree. H. M. 1955. 15.00. |
