From Bonnewitz catalog, 1926: MOA (Bliss) — Dominion Seedling. $25.00. “This variety, one of the finest of the Dominion race, has enormous flowers, with broad arching standards of pure violet color, and broad, almost circular, smooth flat falls of deep violet-purple or pansy-violet. It is one of the tallest of the Dominion race, a splendid grower with well branched spikes. Very prolific bloomer, with individual flowers of great substance.” No doubt this variety will win a coveted place in the Dominion group. |

This, one of the finest of the Dominion race, has enormous flowers with very broad arching standards of pure violet colour. and broad, almost circular, smooth flat falls of a deep violet-purple or pansy violet. This is the tallest of the Dominion race, a grand grower with well-branched spikes. Very free flowering and individual flowers of great substance. Ht., 3-ft. 8-in. A magnificent Iris. |
