From Carl Salbach catalog 1943: MISTY ROSE (Mitchell-Salbach 1943). (Seduction x Seedling.) A quite distinct iris, well described by its name. Tall, 4 ft.low and wide branched with 7 buds. Flowers large 5" x 6". Standards pearly-pink, falls deeper, suffused brownish rose below the beard. Should be a fine seedparent for either pinks or plicatas. The soft harmonious shape of pink is both new and attractive. Mid-season 40". $10.00. |
