From AIS Bulletin #337 April 2005 Introducing MIDNIGHT VIGIL (Stahly '05) TB, M, 35". Velvety black falls beneah standards that are only slightly lighter, appearing to be a black self. Styles and beards also are black. This is a beautifully formed, heavily ruffled flower that stands out in the garden and draws attention.
