'Merriment' (Ron Beattie, R. 1959). Seedling# B-55-100. TB, Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-Y5L, Champagne-buff self. 'Hermit Thrush' X tan seedling. Fleur de Lis 1959.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: MERRIMENT (Beattie '59) M.L. 39 in. (Hermit Thrush x Sdlg.). A stunning new blend of colors ranging from apricot flesh through rich Champagne gold with flushes of ambery chartreuse. A real beauty. 7.50.
