'Mendenhall' ( Fred DeForest, R. 1959). Seedling# 57-12. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-W2, White plicata, blue pattern. 'Caroline Jane' x ((seedling# P42 x 'Rodeo') x 'New Hope'). Irisnoll 1959.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: MENDENHALL (DeF. '59) M. 34 in. Caroline Jane x ((Tiffany Sdlg. x Rodeo) x New Hope). A very broad, round petaled flower of white with dotted and sanded border of medium violet blue. Very fine. 5.00.
