'Memphis Delight' (Evelyn Kegerise, R. 1977). Seedling# 70-76-D. TB, 35" (86 cm), Late bloom. Ruffled pink (RHS 36B/C) self with lighter blaze on falls; medium red beard. 'Pink Taffeta' X 'Point Clear'. Evelyn Kegerise 1977. Honorable Mention 1978, Judges' Choice 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #226 Summer 1977 Introducing MEMPHIS DELIGHT-TB, 34", L, No. 70-76-D. This is the "beautiful pink iris" which so delighted many irisarians attending the Memphis Convention. It is a pure pink iris with beautifully formed flowers, nicely displayed on well-branched stalks. Fine substance allows for resistance to rain. Fertile both ways. $25.00. Evelyn Kegerise.
