Tell 1963. High Commendation 1962, Honorable Mention 1964, Judges' Choice 1964, Award of Merit 1966, 2nd Premium at Florence Int'l Iris Show 1966 (1st Premium not awarded).

Note: Iris named for Tell Muhlestein's wife.

MARIE PHILLIPS (Muhlestein '63) An absolute self of clear pure wisteria violet with a self beard. Such uniformity of coloring is amazing. Flower form is close to perfection; standards are tight, falls flare gracefully and are wide and well formed; ruffling is just what one would desire.
