From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1951: MADAM MOHR (Joseph C. Betcherer). Midseason. (Morera) x (Dauntless x Tropic Seas). The first seedling we have ever seen from Morera. This is a light powder blue self with gold inlay at the hafts and gold beard. Tall branched stalks. Height 40". $10.00.
From Wallace Iris Gardens catalog 1955: MADAM MOHR- (Becherer '51) M. 40 in. (Morera x (Dauntless x Tropic Seas) A mammoth, broad petaled flower of soft powder blue with beautiful onco form. $4.00.
