'Luxury Ruffles' (Paul Black, R. 2007). Seedling# L32A. TB, 34" (86 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards pale blue-white; style arms blue white; falls medium violet-blue, darker texture veins; beards orange in throat, violet to orange in middle, violet blue at end; heavily ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Mandela' X seedling# J38A, 'Cameo Appearance' sibling. Mid-America 2007.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2007: LUXURY RUFFLES - TB, 34" (86 cm), Early-Midseason. The standards of LUXURY RUFFLES are clear pale blue-white and falls medium violet-blue. So, what sets this one apart from others of similar color? Yes, the ruffles - no plain Jane here. Each petal has an abundance of ruffles while still maintaining a very clean, classic form.
