From Fleur De Lis Gardens 1956. LUNAR MIST (Tompkins 1953) M. 36 in. (Congres x M. L. Aureau) x (Golden Hind x Wabash). From an oncobred and tall bearded line, this is a very lovely and most unusual iris. The flowers are very large and of a most unusual shade of greenish yellow or amber with a lavender blue flush over the falls. The blue flush is almost a powdered on overlay and a few near invisible stitchings and veinings are present on the falls. Heavy substance and smooth finish . Stock limited this year. Net 1.00. |
