From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1965: LUCKY FLOUNCE (Austin '63) EM-34". A lemon cream introduced as a lucky break for the beginner, as it will g1ve h1m real flounces, at a beginner's price. While frequently fully flounced, & excitng many comments, falls are a bit narrow by modern standards. But you'll have flounces, spoons & perhaps even horns galore from this delightful & least ex- pensive of all flounced Iris. Brilliant orange beard. Pollen profuse. Spoon of Gold X Lemon Spoon.
