'Lorna Lee 1949' (
James Gibson, R. 1949). TB, Early bloom. Color Class-WW.
Purissima X
Claridad. Slight fragrance.
Western Iris Gardens 1949.
This iris has a registration entry on page 150 of the 1949 AIS Checklist. Mr. Gibson subsequently released the name and registered another 'Lorna Lee' in 1965. Because this iris was introduced by Western Iris Gardens it is deemed important to list here because it still may be growing somewhere, but most likely it went extinct.
