From Mid-America catalog, 2008: LOOPTY LOO (Black 08) TB Midseason-Late 34” (86cm). Ruffled and lightly laced standards are medium lilac with wide, looping bands of pale slate blue feathered into the lilac. Ruffled and lightly laced falls are medium lilac-violet with darker blue-violet texture veins and slightly bluer flash around violet-blue beards. Two evenly spaced branches and spur plus terminal produce 7-8 buds. Loopty Loo is an exciting step in hybridizing a pink iris with blue bands and blue beards. Perhaps a cross of Loopty Loo and Crash Course is in order. Sdlg M265A: Peacetime X Rhapsodic. $50.00. |
