1994, Durrance

'Long's Peak' (John Durrance, R. 1994). Seedling# D90-124V. TB, 42" (107 cm), Late midseason bloom. Grape purple, falls with white haft markings; beards yellow. Parentage unknown. Long 1994. Honorable Mention 1998.

From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing LONG'S PEAK (John Durrance) 090-124V, 42", ML. This big purple majesty towers above the rest. Just a light dusting of white snow at the hafts and golden beards complete each flower. Average of eight blooms per sturdy stalk. $30.00. Long's Gardens.
