LIGHTS ON (Lapham, 1943) - Very dark red with good sheen in the falls; flower not large, not much venation on haft, some lines extending down falls. [Elis Nelson, "Varietal Notes on Red Irises," The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 110 (July 1948): 93.]
