1978, Shoop

'Latin Lady' (George Shoop, R. 1978). Seedling# 72-16. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white with touch of lavender; falls grape purple with 1/4" lavender-white edge; tangerine beard; ruffled. 'Latin Lover' seedling X pink amoena seedlings. Shoop 1978. Honorable Mention 1980.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing LATIN LADY (Shoop '78). TB, 36", M. A large, ruffled amoena. Standards white with just a touch of lavender. Purple grape falls with a lavendar-white rim 1/4" wide; tangerine beard. Good branching, nice stem. Increases well. Sdlg. #72-16. Involving Latin Lover seedlings sibbed X pink amoena lines. $25.00.
