From Western Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: LATE SUN (DeForest, 1940). M. 42". Yellow with a red-gold overlay. The basic predominant yellow is clear, rich and deep. Excelling in height, with large flowers and vigorously produced foliage, this newer yellow stands apart in the garden. Try it. HM 1942. $1.00
