From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1968: LAS VEGAS GOLD (Tompkins 1968) M.L. 37 in. (Earlicot x Fusilier) x ((Cool Comfort x Fusilier) x Techny Chimes)). A vivid golden yellow with great carrying power, this is of large size and has a very heavy, non-burning velvet like finish. A broad, full beard of burnished red-gold accents the clean coloring as do the extra broad, beautifully held petals. The stalks are strong and very well branched, holding the large, semi-flaring flowers in graceful placement. A real beauty, this is also very hardy and has clean, broad, deep green foliage.
