1997, Kasperek

'King Tush' (Brad Kasperek, R. 1997). Seedling# 92B-57W. TB, 38" (97 cm). Late bloom. Standards azalea pink (RHS 39D), splashed indian lake (58A) and spinel red (54C/D); style arms azalea pink; falls azalea pink with pinkish white stripes, infrequent splashes of indian lake and spinel red; beards bright medium orange; ruffled; slight fragrance. 'Tiger Honey' X 'Raspberry Fudge'. Zebra 1997. Honorable Mention 1999.

From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing KING TUSH (Kasperek '97) TB ML 38" Season ending breaker! Closed Victorian pink standards, gracefully ruffle with occasional light purple splashes. Matching style arms. Flaring "bruised pink" falls with light pink streaks, accented by a large, bright tangerine beard. 7 buds. Tiger Honey X Raspberry Fudge (92B-57W). $40.00. Zebra Gardens.
