From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1951: JUST ANNIE (Muhlestein). Midseason-Late. (Sister to Fabulous Kate.) Yellow standards, white falls bordered yellow. Wide and full in all parts. Standards somewhat open. Has been so well received both here and in the garden of Annie Gierisch, Burley, Idaho, that we have decided to name it for Annie (one of our Robin members) and she has graciously accepted with gratitude. We think this large flower will find a host of friends just as "Annie" has even though she is deaf and must read lips to follow a conversation. 38 inches. $5.00
