1952, Hall

'June Bride' (David Hall, R. 1952). TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class-O1, Pinkish-apricot self, tangerine beard. Name released by C. F. Wassenberg. Two Hall pink seedligs. Cooley 1952. Honorable Mention 1952; Judge's Joice 1953.

Note: Not to be confused with 'June Bride' by Grinter (1920).

From Wallace Iris Gardens 1955: JUNE BRIDE - (D. Hall '52) M. Flaring deep apricot of large size on 30-inch stalks. Heavy geranium-red beard. H M '52. $7.50.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: JUNE BRIDE (Hall 1952) M. 30 in. (From pink sdlgs.). A deep flamingo pink with a smooth, rich buff undertone which throws it a bit toward the orange pink side. H. M. 1952. 5.00.
