JERRY (Lapham 1934) M. 38". A distinct and beautifully finished iris of great brilliancy. S. rich light red; F. deeper red with heavy velvety finish. The garden effect is a glowing ruby red. Stalks medium tall and well branched. Holds its color well. $1.50. [1937 Quality Gardens catalog, Freeport, IL]
From Maple Valley Iris Gardens catalog, 1937: JERRY (Lap. 1933) M. 38 in. A very fine ruby red self that glows in any garden planting. Trim well rounded flowers and good branching add to its many good points. Very popular. $2.00.
