From Wing Seed catalog, 1919: "JEANNE d’ARC — A lovely Iris, with large flowers. Semi- early. S. very large, ruffled, spreading after the manner of the Japanese, white, border very delicately penciled bright lilac; F. pure white bordered bright lilac at base; style arms tipped and midribbed deep bright lilac. Thirty-one inches. 60c."
From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1922: "Jeanne d'Arc. A pretty plicata variety, white shaded with lilac blue. A.M., RHS."
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: JEANNE D'ARC (Verdier 1907) 7.8. S. and F. white, edged lavender. A dainty Plicata that is better than Mme. Chereau and very close to Ma Mie and Anna Farr. 30 inches. 25 cts. each; 60 cts. for 3; $2.00 per doz.
