From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing IMITATION SKY (Muhlestein '74). Midseason-Late, 36". Ivy League X Crowning Glory. Another azure blue self. A large flower, very wide of parts. This and Blue Promise are bluer than anything I have grown or seen in tall bearded irises. Imitation Sky comes from two blue amoenas, and will be useful for this color combination. Limited stock. # 128 A. $35.00. Tell's Iris Gardens.
