Frolm Carl Salbach catalog 1936: Hidalgo. A very large lavender blue of unusually broad shape. The stalks carry so many blooms open at one time that it is comparable to a spike of gladiolus. Particularly fine for floral decorations, as under electric light it becomes as pink as Frieda Mohr. Mid-season to late. 48-inch. 35c; 3 for 75c. |
