ORIGINAL CATALOG DESCRIPTUION: HENNA STITCHES (Gibson, 1961) Each $20.00. Well illustrated at right, a very bright combination of frosty white and gleaming henna-copper. The petals are gracefully flounced and ruffled. A feature which enlivens this new plicata is the metallic gleam of the reddish copper margins and style-arms, although this brilliance is not entirely evident in our picture. Beard is dusty old gold, lightly tipped magenta. Hafts and base of standards are blended gold. Here is a dazzling beauty with fragrant, spicy odor. 36 inches. No. 51-5D. [Cooley's Iris, 1961] |
