1976, Roberts

'Hell's Fire' (Sanford Roberts, R. 1976). Seedling# R68-118-3. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early to midseason bloom and re-bloom. Standards ruffled black-red (near RHS 187A), lighter variation shot thru midrib, no striations; falls darker black-red; dark bronze beard. Seedling# 64-1-3: ('Lois Craig' x 'Edenite') X seedling# 67-40: ('Adam' x 'Edenite'). Cordon Bleu 1976. Honorable Mention 1978.
