Standards dark pink; style arms pink; falls dark pink, overlaid light lavender fancy pattern; beards pink, tipped white; slight spicy fragrance. 'Deserving Treasure' X 'Goodbye Heart'. Innerst 1997. Honorable Mention 1999.

From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing HELEN LEADER, TB, 56", M-L, sdlg. #3953-5, (Deserving Treasure X Goodbye Heart) S. dark pink. Falls, dark pinks overlaid lavender giving pink bitone effect in garden. Named in memory of a devoted member of Susquehanna Iris Society, who took over her husband's commercial garden after his death and did a great job of growing and selling irises. 7-9 buds with excellent branching. $35.00. Sterling Innerst.
