'Helen Kennedy' (Fred Kennedy, R. 1955). Seedling# 1-50. TB (hybrid), 38" (97 cm), Extra early bloom. Medium blue self; beard white. 'Snow Flurry' X 'Luna'. Kennedy 1953.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: HELEN KENNEDY (Kennedy 1953) E-M. 38 in. (Snow Flurry x Luna). This new hybrid from tall bearded x onco-regelia lines is a beauty. Large, extremely broad petaled and of fine form and heavy substance, it is done in very pale blue with a snowy white beard. Should be quite a parent. 5.00.
