From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing HAYRIDE-910-1 (Bright Butterfly X Spanish Gift). Orange-pink standards are graceful and tightly closed. Wide almost horizontal falls are bright straw yellow, smooth deep orange at the haft, with hints of green. The wide beard is red-orange. Beautiful form, a plant that will grow and the brightest orange toned iris I know. 35". $25.00. Bennett Jones. |
