'Happy Deb' (Neva Sexton, R. 1961). Seedling# 57-15. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-W2B, White ground plicata, bordered dark blue; blue beard. 'Happy Meeting' X 'Dancing Deb'. Sexton 1962.

From AIS Bulletin #165, April 1962. Introducing HAPPY DEB (Sexton '62). M. 36 in. (Happy Meeting X Dancing Deb). White ground plicata bordered dark blue on standards and falls. Blue beard. So fluted and ruffled that it takes at least three days to fully open and lasts four more days. This one inherited branching of Happy Meeting. $20.00. Sexton Iris Garden.
