'Happy Bride' (Neva Sexton R. 1973). Seedling# 14-64. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly laced and fluted white self; deep lemon yellow beard. ('Moon River' x 'Chinese Coral') X ('Queen's Lace' x 'June's Sister'). Sexton 1973. Honorable Mention 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing HAPPY BRIDE (Sexton '73). (Moon River x Chinese Coral x Queen's Lace x June's Sister) M. 36". A frilled, fluted, and daintily laced beauty of elegant form with very broad petals. A white self, with a deep lemon yellow beard. Well-branched stalks with nine to twelve blooms per stalk. Happy Bride is a white New Moon with lots of lace. NET $25.00. Sexton's Iris Garden.
