'Half Dollar' (Paul Black, R. 2006). Seedling# J202B. TB, 41" (104 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards pastel smoky violet blending to pearl mauve, becoming paler mauve-white at edge, darker veins shot into center; style arms pastel mauve pink; Falls pinkish pearl, very faint darker pink band, peach mauve blush at haft, greenish texture veins; beards white tipped coral; ruffled; pronounced spicy fragrance. Seedling# G38C, 'Mountain View' sibling, X 'Fogbound'. Mid-America 2006.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: HALF DOLLAR - TB, 41" (104 cm), Midseason-Late. Half Dollar is the perfect show iris. Four branches and spur have 9-10 buds and easily open 3 flowers at once. Ruffled standards are soft, smokey violet at bases blending to pearl-mauve and outward to pearl margins. Darker veins overlay middle two-thirds of standards. Lightly ruffled falls are pinkish pearl with slightly darker bands and peach blushed hafts. Greenish texture veins spread out over falls. Sdlg. J202B: Mountain View sib X Fogbound. BONUS.
