'Hail To Rome' (Roger Nelson, R. 1985). Seedling# RN 78-36N. TB, 28-29" (71-74 cm), Midseason bloom. Moderately ruffled medium to deep tannish yellow (RHS 1 1A/11B); falls lightly ruffled and pleated deep red purple (near 60B). deepening to dark greyed red violet (187B/C), lightly rimmed lighter red purple (59D); deep yellow orange (17B) beard infused red purple; slight spicy fragrance. 'Navajo Blanket' X 'Gypsy Caravan'. Iris Country 1986.
