From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1921: GULES (Bliss). Falls of rich pansy-violet of enamel-like smoothness. The haft has brown veining on cream ground. Standards reddish-lilac to red-violet. The habit is branching and it attains a height of 3-ft. to 3-ft. 6-in. Very distinct, a strong grower and free-flowering. |
