From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing GRIFFIN'S PRIDE (Shepard '89) TB-40"-EM. Picked by the National Council of State Garden Clubs to be named for their current president, Mrs. Carroll Griffin, this clear pristine white iris stands stately in the garden. The beards are pure white turning orange in the throat of the bloom. Excellent branching, 10 to 13 buds and leather like substance are part of the excellence. (Persian Berry X Beauty Crown). $30.00. Shepard Iris Garden.
