'Grape Situation' (David Miller, R. 1990). Seedling# DM85-5B. TB, 36-38" (91-97 cm), Early midseason bloom. Grape purple; self beards; slight fragrance. 'Lorilee' X 'Song Of Norway'. Long 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing GRAPE SITUATION (D. Miller) Region 20 youth member Shelly Moller helped to name this "situation". It's a grape juice self that will please you with its 8-10 buds, well placed on a 36"-38" stalk. Expect good vigor and a long bloom season. $30.00. Long's Gardens.
