'Grape Fiesta' (Don Shepard, R. 1984). Seedling# 81A-4-84035. TB, 32" (81 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards rich grape purple, sprinkled and veined cream; falls cream yellow, heavily banded grape purple, white blaze veined grape, opaque stripe down middle; carrot orange beard; slight sweet fragrance. 'Rose Tattoo' X 'Mirror Mirror'. Shepard Iris 1985.

From AIS Bulletin #257 April 1985 Introducing GRAPE FIESTA (Shepard '85) TB-32"- E/M. $25.00. The standards are a rich grape purple, sprinkled and veined cream. The falls are a cream yellow ground banded heavily with grape purple and a white blaze. An opaque stripe down the middle of the fall reflects the parentage of this lusious beauty. The plant multiplies fast and has a lot of bloom with multiple bud sockets and good hranching. A carrot orange heard tops off this 'drink' of grape juice: (Rose Tattoo X Mirror Mirror). Shepard Iris Garden.
