'Grandstand' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2011). Seedling# TZ161AA. TB, 31 (79 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards white; style arms white, crests edged gold; falls dark blue-purple, large white central sunburst around beards, gold touched hafts; beards bright yellow, large; ruffled. 'Morning Sunrise' X 'Dancing Star'. Mid-America 2011.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2011: GRANDSTAND (T.Johnson ‘11) TB Midseason 31” (79cm). Try ignoring this boisterous grandstander. It isn't possible. Blindingly white standards and styles are repeated in large sunbursts on dark blue purple falls shaded slightly lighter around sunbursts. Bright yellow hafts and beards shout - "LOOK AT ME"! Vigorous growth creates clumps filled with these flashy flowers. Sdlg. TZ161AA: Morning Sunrise X Dancing Star. $55.00.
