'Good Investment' (G. Burger, R. 1973). Seedling# B-7. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early to midseason bloomn. Ruffled medium violet-purple self; white beard. 'First Violet' X 'Violet Harmony'. Gene & Gerry's Iris 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing GOOD INVESTMENT (G. & G. BURGER '73) $25.00. Sdlg. B-7: First Violet X Violet Harmony TB 32" E-M. A medium violet-purple, graced with ruffles & perfection of modern form; set off with a white beard. Good plant habit & vigor. Three branches & terminal-8 buds. The very best progeny that I have observed from this much tried cross. This added to your collection is certainly a "GOOD INVESTMENT" in garden beauty. Gene & Gerry's Iris Gardens.
