2003, Burseen

'Golly Gee Whiz' (Tom Burseen, R. 2002). Seedling# 97-1021B. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards light lavender blue; style arms washed purple; falls bright rust red (near RHS 46C), golden edge wash, burgundy veining concentrated at beard; beards yellow gold to gold in throat, light lavender at end; ruffled, flared; sweet fragrance. Seedling# 94-173: ('Venetian Queen' x 'Call Ripley's') X seedling# 94-171: ('Chinese Empress' x seedling# 92-157: ('Step Beyond' sibling x seedling# 90-61: (('Candace' x 'Local Motion') x 'Hubba Hubba Hubba'))). TB's Place 2003. Honorable Mention 2006.
