'Golden Wings' (Sass Brothers and Helen Graham Reynolds, R. 1959). Seedling# 55-163 1/2. TB, 39" (99 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class Y1F, Golden-yellow self. 'Country Butter' x ('Tobacco Road' x 'Ola Kala'). Melrose 1960. Honorable Mention 1961.

From AIS Bulletin #157, April 1960. Co-introducing with El Dorado Gardens GOLDEN WINGS (Sass-Graham) 36". (Sass Sdgs from Ola Kala, Tobacco Road, Nebraska Sunset and Country Butter). Intense, near orange yellow, glowing and brilliant with horizontal falls and distinct ruffling throughout. Very fragrant. Net $20.00. Melrose.
