Standards and style arms light bronze with purple infusions; falls light gold; beards bold gold, large; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 6 002: ('Opposing Forces' x 'Trade Secret') X seedling# 7 211: (Irish Gold' x 'Opposing Forces'). Stout Gardens at Dancing Tree 2014. Honorable Mention 2016.

From Judy Schneider, TX: I've grown that iris since it was introduced and the plant came directly from Bob. It's a strange iris as it tends to vary in color depending on weather and soil. My soil has a lot of iron in it so it throws a blue tint to many varieties which you can see in the standards on those photos. Some years it's very pale, other years it's almost brown. I had the ID questioned at a show once, too, because it was so dark-from the same clump in a different year than the photos on the Wiki that are so light. Hugh said it was muddy for him in OK. Strange one for sure!
